StoryGift is made by Novpix LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States. This page says what happens to your data when you use it.

Your photos and your words

Photos you add stay on your device. The video is made in your browser. If your browser cannot make videos, the story and its photos are sent to our server once to make the video; nothing is stored, and the file is deleted as soon as it is sent back to you.

When you ask Claude to write a story, the names, the style, the language and the few lines you write about the person are sent to Claude (Anthropic models on Amazon Bedrock, in the EU) to write it. Photos are never sent. We do not keep the text you wrote or the story that came back.

Your account

When you first open the studio we create an anonymous account and keep its id in a cookie, so your credits are remembered. It has no name or email. We keep a keyed hash of your network address (not the address itself) to limit free credits per network.

Payments

Credits are sold by Link (a Stripe company) as the seller of record. Stripe and Link handle your card, billing address and tax details under their own privacy policies. We never see your card; Stripe tells us only that a payment went through, which anonymous account it was for, and whether it was later refunded or disputed.

Bot protection

Before Claude writes a story, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is asking. Cloudflare handles this under its own privacy policy.

Analytics

If you allow it, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which styles and features people use: pages viewed, the style chosen, whether a video or a Claude story was made, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type. It never receives names, the words you write, your photos or your stories. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. In the EU and EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing is collected until you accept; elsewhere it is on unless you decline. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page. The data is kept for 2 months and then deleted. Google processes it as our service provider under its own terms.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and to find problems. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.

No ads

StoryGift has no advertising and shares no data with advertisers.
